An exceptional pair of 1920's Art Deco plant stands, planters or Jardinieres in the style of Warren McArthur in black and with gold design. The pair of plant pedestals are finely hand carved of Iron showing beautiful geometrical shapes. The bowls are made of copper and painted in black and each are embellished with four " devil" heads painted in gold. The stands are also finely decorated with gold round motifs and the round base is also beautifully carved. Unpolished with original paint finish, The plant pedestals and rare and will add style and opulence to your outdoor area or garden.

Condition:  Good. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. Some iron oxidation, fading, and discoloration to the black color. Two screws were replaced on one bowl to hold the figural " demon" face. One figural demon face is not holding close to its original position but is very tightly attached to the bowl.
