About the artist/ designer :
T. Foree (often signed T. Foree’ or Foree Hunsicker) was an American jewelry designer based in Dallas, Texas, active mainly from the 1980s through the early 2000s. She founded the jewelry company Medalias by Foree Hunsicker in 1987, producing distinctive sterling-silver jewelry inspired by Victorian-era luggage and trunk identification tags, which she reproduced as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and other accessories.
Before focusing on jewelry design, Foree studied art at the University of Texas and worked as a painter, clothing designer, and interior decorator. Her jewelry line gained popularity for its historical aesthetic and craftsmanship, and her company at one point employed dozens of artisans.
