David Lloyd Glover Original Mixed Media Painting of Muhammed Ali vs Sonny Liston 2000's
This original mixed media painting by David Lloyd Glover (Canadian, b1949) captures an iconic moment in boxing history: Muhammad Ali standing over a fallen Sonny Liston. The piece showcases Glover's mastery of vibrant color and dynamic form, utilizing intense shades of blue, red, and orange to bring life and movement to the composition. Ali's figure, positioned confidently above his opponent, exudes a powerful presence, with the contrast between his illuminated skin tones and the deep blues of the background enhancing the drama of the scene. Glover's bold brushstrokes and layering techniques lend texture and depth to the work, making the intensity of this legendary match almost palpable. Framed in a simple white frame, the artwork is elevated in a way that highlights the action without detracting from the power of the scene itself.
The art work is hand signed and titled in the back by the artist and comes with its original certificate of authenticity . The mixed media arts work has been recently framed and presented in a custom white modern frame with linen matting.
