A late 19th century handwoven tapestry on a wooden hand carved pole. The tapestry depicts a lush garden with a fountain surrounded by three wingless putti playing with water. The tapestry frame features a fine design of acanthus leaves. The wooden bronze gold painted pole is finely hand carved with a floral or tulip carving and a tassel on each end.
Period: 1880's
